Early this morning, Quad Ambulance District responded to a residence to rescue a dog who had fallen into an uncovered heating vent during home renovations.
The homeowner awoke to her other dog barking and checked her home camera, which captured the sound of the fall. She explained that Peaches is elderly and blind and may not have been aware of the uncovered opening.
Our rescue crew began carefully accessing the ductwork. When Peaches was not located there, they continued to the furnace, where they found her. Sweet Peaches was safely removed and reunited with her owner.
With the homeowner’s permission, we’re sharing this photo of Peaches being rescued. We’re proud of our crew’s work and grateful we could help bring her safely back to her family.
Quad is here to serve our community—including our four-legged residents! 🐾 🐾🐾

Thank you to everyone who reached out, shared our post, or recommended someone to help sew patches on our uniforms!

We’re happy to share that we’ve connected with someone local. Keeping this work within our community was important to us, and we appreciate everyone who offered their time and talents.

Thank you for supporting Quad Ambulance District! We’re grateful to be part of such a caring community!

Happy rainy Saturday!
We wanted to jump on here and send a quick update to our community.
You may notice an Osnaburg Township ambulance responding in the District more frequently for a short time. One of our ambulances is currently out of service for repairs, and Osnaburg has graciously allowed us to borrow their backup unit.

Although the ambulance says “Osnaburg,” please be assured that it is staffed by your Quad Ambulance District employees.

A huge thank-you to Osnaburg Township Fire Department for helping us continue providing reliable service to our community!

Tonight, Quad EMS and Rescue joined forces with Magnolia Fire Department and Mohawk Valley Fire Department for a hands-on training focused on our vehicle airbag lifting system.

These airbags are an important rescue tool, but thankfully they aren’t something we have to use every day. That makes regular training and refreshers extremely valuable. Crews practiced the safe and proper techniques for lifting and stabilizing vehicles, giving our newer members hands-on experience while allowing our experienced providers an opportunity to sharpen their skills.

A big thank you to our instructors, Josh Lanning and Jason Ely, for taking the time to teach us all.

We’d also like to thank Canton Towing for supplying the vehicle used during tonight’s training, and a huge shoutout to Cruz Giannelli with Tonka Services LLC for helping us by moving the vehicle for the training.

Training like this allows our departments to work together, learn from one another, and stay prepared for the situations we may face in our community.

Train together. Work together. Serve together. 💪🚒🚑
