Today we had the privilege to do our yearly fire safety with the morning and afternoon preschool classes. We talk about fire safety every year with the kids, but please be sure to continue to talk at home with them about it.

-Have 2 ways out incase of a fire.
-Don't play with fire, candles, stove, etc.
-Call 911 in case of an emergency.
-Talk to your kids about firefighters are there to help them. They may look scary, but we want to make sure they don't run to hide.
-Be sure you have working smoke detectors.

Fire safety is so important. So please be sure to continuously remind to your children about it.

Yesterday we had the privilege of having a group of homeschooling students join us for a trip to the firehouse! They learned all about the importance of fire safety. They got to take a tour of the station, look at firetrucks, ambulances and learn about what we do as volunteers!

Important reminders for all:
-Always talk with your kids and make sure everyone has 2 ways out in case of a fire.
-Make sure you having working smoke alarms!
-Know to call 911 in case of an emergency.
-Always make sure you are wearing your seat belts and children are secured into the proper car seat/belts, etc.

At the WG game on Friday, they honored our hometown heroes. To our members of Wayne Twp Fire & EMS, firefighters, EMS, police officers, dispatchers, the men and women who have served our country, you are all heros. Thank you ALL for everything you do!

We had yet another successful golf outing this year. Thank you to each and every single team for coming out and playing.
