We are excited to announce that Mr. Ahmed Aldossary will be stepping into the role of Assistant Director at Shining Rock Classical Academy. Many of you already know him through his outstanding work as our School Counselor. During his time in that role, he made a tremendous impact on our students, providing guidance, support, and encouragement as they navigated both academic and personal challenges. His dedication to student success has been truly remarkable. Before entering education, Mr. Aldossary worked as a geologist for five years. Since transitioning into education, he has earned recognition as Teacher of the Year during his first year in the classroom, developed programs focused on student success, served in leadership roles, coordinated school-wide events, and built strong relationships with students, families, and staff across multiple charter schools.
As he begins this new role, Mr. Aldossary wants our school community to know that he is committed to supporting teachers, ensuring every staff member feels valued and appreciated, and working collaboratively to create an environment where all students can thrive.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Aldossary on this well-deserved opportunity. We are excited to see the positive impact he will continue to make as Assistant Director.

Muddy Sneakers connects classroom learning to the real world through hands-on outdoor experiences aligned with North Carolina Essential Standards. Through exploration, observation, and inquiry, students deepen their understanding of science while building teamwork, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
