"Inside Weare": Ever Wonder Why Capital Improvements are on the ballot?

Join us for October’s Informational Forum - Capital Improvements Forum - Part 1 (for Fire and Police) as we explore capital improvements, why they matter, and why they’re on the ballot! Get informed, ask questions, and take a peek at the emergency vehicles and talk with the Chiefs and staff about the needs.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate!
Refreshments will be provided and not with tax dollars, but by volunteers.
See you Thursday: October 29th @ 6 PM - Safety Complex!

2026 was a huge milestone for the United States - 250 years old! Weare participated in festivities of ringing the bell, which had some great community involvement.
Now we would like to continue the community involvement to help design the 2026 Town Report Cover. This community has a lot of talented individuals, so there is not doubt we have some creative Weare kids as well.
There will be 4 categories for the contest: K-2; 3-5; 6-8 and 9-12.
Anyone Weare child in public, private or home schooled are encouraged to submit your artwork.
We are working in conjunction with the art teachers at the schools, but those that attend private schools or are home schooled we would like you to participate. Those artists would turn in their artwork at the town office versus the schools by 12/31/2026.
A group will be selected to judge and 4 winners will be announced and presented the honors at a Board of Selectmen meeting in January. Please pass it around and be part of this great opportunity.
Thank you!
