Just three weeks in, FIVE Webster Schroeder teams are ranking in the top 10 of Budget Challenge’s national competition! Huge congratulations to Stumpy’s Savers Black (1st), Stumpy Savers Green (2nd), Fin. Lit. Period ½ Schroeder (3rd), Jasek Money Team 7 (4) and Fin. Lit. Period 4 Schroeder (6th)! 🏆👏
Through our required financial literacy course, students use this simulation to gain hands-on practice with real-world skills like budgeting, credit, saving and investing.

Hot off the presses, here's a notice about the Webster Central PTSA's annual Winter Coat and Concert Apparel distribution event. It's THIS Saturday Oct. 24 at the Webster Rec Center from 9:30 a.m.. to 1:30 pm.

This month, Webster families have been donating new and gently used winter coats and concert apparel. The items will be available for anyone in the Webster community to pick up for free on Saturday. They'll be set up inside the Rec Center in the Multipurpose Room.

🍝 Free Spaghetti Dinner for Webster Veterans & Active Duty Military! 🇺🇸
Spry Middle School students and staff invite local veterans, active duty service members and their families to a complimentary spaghetti dinner. It’s Spry's small way of saying a big thank you for your service to our nation!
📅 When: Thursday, November 5, 4pm–6:30pm
📍 Where: Spry Middle School Cafetorium, 119 South Ave
🍽️ Menu: Complimentary spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert
Call Spry Middle School at (585) 216-0093 to reserve your table or order takeout. Please enter the school property from Route 250 and use the entrance located at the back of the cafetorium for both dine-in and takeout.

A huge thank you to our incredible partners at WHEN for hosting Lunchtime Legends at Spry Middle School today! 🎉👏
WHEN’s mission is to empower Webster kids to grow up strong and substance-free. During Lunchtime Legends, they bring such an uplifting presence to our cafetoriums—providing fun crafts, engaging games, and warm, friendly conversation for our students.
It was inspiring to see our students actively participating, sharing laughs and building meaningful connections with community mentors during their lunch break. This kind of positive community interaction makes a lasting impact on our kids, creating a supportive, connected environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged.

🎉 Big news from the Junior Achievement Entrepreneur Summit!
Today, YEA students from across the Greater Rochester region—including Webster CSD—came together to collaborate in randomly assigned teams and pitch innovative business ideas to a panel of investors.
Our students showed incredible leadership and creativity, placing on every single top team! 🏆
Taking 1st place were Leo T. and Kaylani C. from Webster Thomas High School. Securing 2nd place were Kenny R., Sam F., and Joseph Z., also from Thomas. In 3rd place were Mark D. and AJ L. from Webster Schroeder High School. Rounding out 4th place were Owen B. and Cody P., also from Schroeder.
A big thank you to advisors Casey Clark (Thomas) and Andrew Jasek (Schroeder) for guiding our young entrepreneurs!
Our students also got to reconnect with Schroeder Class of ’23 alumnus Dominic Mancuso. Dominic served as an event judge and currently leads St. John Fisher University’s Entrepreneurship Club.
We are so proud of these future business leaders! 💼✨

CONGRATULATIONS to Webster Schroeder, the Monroe County Division II Gameday Cheerleading champion! The Warriors are coached by Allison Violette!

Building connections, one school visit at a time! 🏫👋
Throughout the school year, our Webster Board of Education members and district administrators love visiting each of our schools to stay connected with our amazing students and staff. Today’s "board walk" brought the team to Webster Schroeder High School!
They had a fantastic time catching up with Principal Paul Benz, chatting with students, and popping into a few classrooms to see all the great teaching and learning happening up close. 📚
