Fourth grade Dukes are enjoying the sun at recess. Mrs. Birchfield's class had a butterfly chrysalis in their classroom. They brought it outside to set free. 🦋

We had a great day yesterday! Today, our WHS Dukes get to experience the Career Expo!

10/13/2026

Seventh and eighth grade McCormick students enjoyed an afternoon at the Ross Expo Center today for the career expo!

They had a chance to explore so many career fields through hands-on projects. Creating a carnation butineere, trying our masonry work, riding the lift for iron workers, trying an excavator simulator, looking under the hood of a car, taking each other's blood pressure, listening to your heart, learning about JVS and LCCC robots and programs was rewarding and fun! Thank you to the Educational Service Center of Lorain County for putting together this amazing event and all of our community businesses and students for volunteering their time to educate our students. We appreciate these opportunities to grow and learn about the many career pathways available!
