Please join us from 10:00-4:00pm on Tuesday, October 27th in welcoming the new Sumner County Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Lacey Grunden!

Family and Consumer Science agents provide leadership in their communities by developing and delivering educational programming for family-related issues including nutrition, food safety, parenting, financial management, health and safety.

Lacey earned her master’s in library and information science from Emporia State in 2024. Lacey has been employed as an Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program assistant since June 2025 at the Sedgwick County branch of K-State Extension.

Lacey will be jointly employed in a partnership between K-State Extension, headquartered on the Kansas State University campus in Manhattan, and the local Sumner County Extension Council.

We look forward to having Lacey as part of K-State Extension-Sumner County. We would welcome your coming by the Extension Office to meet Lacey and offer her your support as she begins serving Sumner County.

Today, during National 4-H Week, we're taking a moment to say THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful for all of our 4-H families, parents, leaders, volunteers, and youth members who give their time, energy, and dedication to making our 4-H program so special.

From showing up, lending a helping hand, trying new things, learning new skills, and supporting one another, you each play an import part in our 4-H program. We are grateful for YOU and appreciate all that you do for 4-H! 🍀💚

🥜 🍀 SUMNER COUNTY 4-H FUNDRAISER 🍀 🥜

Sumner County 4-H Council is hosting a fundraiser through Farmstead Nuts & Treats in Olathe, KS. There are lots of delicious options to choose from, making this a great way to support our local 4-H program while stocking up on some tasty treats!

📅 ORDER DEADLINES:
- First Order: Due to the Extension Office by 5:00pm Friday, November 13th (We hope to receive these before Thanksgiving, but holiday demand may cause some orders to arrive later)

- Second Order: Due by 5:00pm Monday, November 30th (these orders should arrive before Christmas)

Please note: While most products are available daily, some items may sell out as the deadlines approach.

💵 PAYMENT:
- Cash or checks made payable to "Sumner County 4-H Council" only
- Payment must accompany your order form
