Exciting News: Building Updates Begin Monday, October 26th!

We have received official word that our building updates will begin on Monday, October 26th.

As work gets underway, there may be temporary changes to our normal routines, access, or services. We ask for your patience during this exciting improvement process!

The first phase of our building updates begins with work on the elevator.

To help minimize any inconvenience, we are offering Curbside and Mobile Services!

Join us at The Sumner Center and The Edwin Smith House by Sumner Center LLC, in association with R. Newberry Photography, for our Pre-Halloween Bash & Double x Tap Concert! 🎸🥳

🎃 Get Ready for the Great Library Pumpkin Carving & Decorating Contest! 🎃

Grab your pumpkins, gather your family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers, and join in on the fall fun! Whether you are working solo or competing as a team, this contest is open to all ages.

How to Enter:
1️⃣ Register for the contest.
2️⃣ Carve or decorate your pumpkin according to the rules on our website.
3️⃣ Deliver your Creative Creation to the library!

Wellington, Kansas — you outdid yourself! 📚❤️

On September 25th, CortexSynaptix Studio (Joseph Gould and Chris Sanders), along with the Wellington Regent Theater, sponsored a book drive for the Wellington Public Library Children's Library, bringing in over 600 books!

The Wellington Public Library would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who participated and made this event such a massive success. It is truly amazing to see our community come together with a shared passion for promoting literacy and providing vital resources for our youth.
