Tomorrow (Thursday), Lincoln county road department will be paving the approaches to the stop signs at Little Falls Road/HWY 231 and westbound Devils Gap Road/HWY 231. They will have traffic control/flaggers stopping traffic and a detour set up onto Circle Road. Lincoln county will have a deputy patrolling the area and conducting traffic enforcement for the safety of the workers. They plan on starting at 7:00AM and should be there most of the day.

Please join us in congratulating Officer Dallas McCoy on successfully graduating from the United States Indian Police Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico!

This accomplishment represents months of hard work, dedication, discipline, and commitment. Officer McCoy has worked hard to meet the challenges of academy training and has demonstrated the determination and perseverance it takes to begin a career in law enforcement.

We are proud to welcome him to the Spokane Tribal Public Safety Department and look forward to seeing him serve our community.

Thursday September 17th, depending on the weather, the Lincoln county roads department plans on doing some paving for future rumble strips on Little Falls Road and Devils Gap Road at HWY 231. If this happens, littlefalls roadway will be down to one lane and or a detour on Circle road for the day! Please plan your route accordingly!

Powwow Security Update:

We received a large number of applications for Powwow security. Due to a busy week, the application review process is still underway.

Selections and applicant calls will begin Monday, with the security meeting scheduled for Wednesday (5:00 pm, location TBD).
