❤️🖤 50 Days of Thanks! 🖤❤️

Our Welsh High School PTO is working hard to make this year’s student recognition celebrations bigger and better than ever!

Through their November fundraising efforts, our PTO is raising money to support Awards Day and recognize our Greyhounds for their accomplishments throughout the school year! 🐾

From academics and attendance to athletics, achievements, and personal growth, we love celebrating the hard work of our students!

We are so thankful for a PTO and community that continually go above and beyond to support our Greyhounds! ❤️🖤

For any questions regarding the PTO’s efforts, please contact PTO President, Ashley Morgan or any PTO member.

❤️🖤 A GREAT DAY TO BE A GREYHOUND! 🐾

Please join us in congratulating our very own Mr. Deshotel on being named the Jeff Davis Parish High School Principal of the Year! 🏆

Mr. Deshotel leads with heart, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to making Welsh High School the best it can be. His love for our students, staff, and school is evident in everything he does, and we are so fortunate to have him leading our Greyhound family!

Congratulations, Mr. Deshotel! This honor is well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder! ❤️🖤🐾

❤️🖤 Even Greyhounds Need a Day to Recharge! 🐾

After a week of dressing up, decorating halls, competing, cheering, dancing, and showing ALL that Greyhound spirit… we think our students have earned a day to catch up on some sleep! 😂😴

📅 Monday, October 19 — NO SCHOOL for all JDP students!

Our teachers will be on campus for a planning day while our students enjoy a well-deserved day off after an unforgettable Homecoming week!

🔋 Recharge those batteries, Greyhounds… because Tuesday it’s back to books, bells, and business as usual! 📚😂❤️🖤

🍕❤️🖤 A PIZZA-PERFECT HOMECOMING GAME DAY! 🖤❤️🍕

Nothing brings the Hounds together like good food and HOMECOMING! 🏈🐾

A HUGE Greyhound thank you to Hunt Brothers Pizza for generously donating pizza to feed our football team before Friday night’s Homecoming game!

We also want to give a special shoutout to 90 One Stop for preparing all those delicious pizzas for our Hounds!

What a great way to fuel our boys for one of the biggest games of the year! We are so grateful for our local businesses who continue to show up and support our student-athletes! ❤️🖤

Great food, great community, and GREAT Greyhound pride! 🐾🏈

👑❤️🖤 A royal night for the Greyhounds! 🖤❤️👑

Welsh High School is proud to congratulate our 2026 Homecoming Queen, Mollie Monroe, and our 2026 First Maid, Rylee Hoke! ✨

These two represented WHS so beautifully, and we are so proud to celebrate them during Rewind: A Hound Homecoming. Thank you both for representing Greyhound pride with such grace and class! ❤️🐾

Congratulations, Mollie and Rylee!

This week has been INCREDIBLE! We’ve competed, we’ve laughed, we’ve dressed up, we’ve decorated halls, we’ve decorated floats, we’ve performed skits, and we’ve made many, MANY memories!

At the end of the day, we aren’t four separate classes. We are ONE school. ONE family. We are ALL GREYHOUNDS.

From WHS to all of our alumni and our community, HAPPY HOMECOMING!!!

Once a Greyhound, ALWAYS a Greyhound!! ❤️🖤
