Walkingthedogs there are nearby trails available for various dog walking opportunities. we support the efforts to honor and remember Hyco K9, and to protect K9s.

K9 Officer Hyco served with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office for six years before he was killed in the line of duty on October 21, 2015. As we remember and honor Hyco, we share the grief in this loss with his handler and partner, Cpl. Brandon Surratt and family, as well as the entire Anderson County Sheriff’s Department. We support the GELA Foundation and hope you will too.

Update 5:45pm: RUFUS is still in need!

Our 2 yr old friend RUFUS has hardly been here and he's losing himself. He needs OUT ASAP!!

RUFUS is ALL PUPPY and has energy and so much love to give and share. Problem is, he has no way to share it day in and day out. As a result, he's quickly developed into a wild man in his kennel - desperate for interaction- frantic to get out and be noticed and simply be a pet. He's a terrific dog, so handsome and loving and a free spirit but the shelter is breaking him down day by day.

Can you help?? He needs an immediate miracle.

When he first arrived, he was great in play groups but now, he's so wound up that we're afraid he might take his frustration out on other dogs. It's a downward spiral for Rufus.
