What an incredible day of giving back! 🥰A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, October 17, for The Great Give Back 2026! Our community came together to make a difference, one project at a time! 💕

From decorating ornaments for local nursing homes and creating memorial keepsakes for hospice families to preparing lunch bags for those in need, designing pink pumpkins for breast cancer awareness, and creating library advocacy materials, every project completed will help support local organizations and community members. 🫶

The giving doesn't stop here! Throughout October and November, we're continuing to collect donations for local organizations, including food, baby supplies, pet supplies, and used crayons. Visit our website to learn how you can help!

📸 Take a look at some of the wonderful moments from this year's event!

We're so proud of our patrons, teen volunteers, families, and neighbors who took the time to give back. It's amazing what we can accomplish when our community comes together!

Thank you for helping us spread kindness throughout West Babylon and beyond! ❤️

🩺🧸✨Our little patrons and their "patients" had a wonderful time participating in Stony Brook Children's Hospital's Injury Prevention Program—the Teddy Bear Clinic!

This interactive, hands-on safety class taught children all about passenger safety, seatbelts, and bicycle helmet use while they pretended to be medical staff caring for their favorite stuffed animals. 🩹🚴‍♂️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night full of learning, care, and furry friends!

North Shore Animal League, America's Muttigrees Team Leaders , Jayne, Kacey, Grunt and Bilbo, and our Youth Services Librarian Miss Liz, worked together for another successful Family Social. We focus on the importance of Social Emotional Learning and being kind to one another, including animals. Grunt was all tuckered out after an evening of cuddles and lots of loving attention.
