The Farmer Falgu series - funny and engaging, with words and pictures that capture so much that is Indian village/farm/market

The Rumour. With all the typical of things that go around in ways they shouldn’t!

Repurposing is such a part of Indian-ness. And that’s exactly what the clever tailor does

One of our absolute favourites. Such a warm, warm depiction of what stories and songs do to us. Gorgeous illustrations of a South Indian home, temple etc

There’s a storm coming to New York City and the Brooklyn Book Festival outdoor events had to be replanned.
The children’s day booths and marketplace over both Saturday and Sunday had to be canceled. Unfortunate,
but a decision that had to be taken for everyone’s safety.

At The Burrow Library, we were ready to set out for the festival. Our books had been packed, posters printed, displays pre-planned.
But we also felt very ready because in preparing for this event we had our little village coming together. Shoutouts - . Karadi Tales | Children’s Book Publisher was our featured publisher and the planning and sourcing was seamless. The rest of the books had been sourced from Lightroom Bookstore and Funky Rainbow - must visit children’s book stores in Bangalore.
Authors Shweta Ganesh Kumar and Kaushik were to join The Burrow Library booth and interact with visitors - a missed opportunity for all.

Keep watching this space for our next in-person event. And meantime check out our wonderful books at www.theburrow.in
