On June 6, we honor the service members from Illinois and across the country who took part in the D-Day invasion. Their courage and sacrifice helped shape the course of history and remind us of the cost of freedom.

This family friendly event hosted by the West Chicago Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works, and Park District is an awesome opportunity for kids to interact with and learn about vehicles used in construction and public safety. The Mosiac Market starts tonight downtown West Chicago! This awesome opportunity to discover local vendors, hear live music, and engage in interactive activities will be held on Main Street from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

The historic steam locomotive Big Boy made a stop downtown West Chicago yesterday! The City of West Chicago did an amazing job planning an engaging event that presented the engine to the public, spotlighted local food trucks, and hosted an awesome kids zone. Members of our staff had a wonderful time volunteering at the kids zone and are so excited to continue collaborating with the City of West Chicago on more exciting events this summer! Make sure to check out the Mosaic Market, starting tonight and continuing every Thursday until the end of August.
