Thank you to Garden Works for their generous grant to fund our garden beds on the township property. Thank you to Shawn Hacker for your power tools and John Dusza and his road crew for the property clean up and the assist for getting the beds set up. The Freemont Neighborhood Food Pantry was very happy to know these veggies will be coming their way!

At this month’s board meeting, we passed our 2026 township budget. Thank you to our dedicated trustees for their hard work, thoughtful discussion, and commitment to serving our community. Their leadership helps keep our township moving forward responsibly and efficiently.
We also officially proclaimed May as Motorcycle Awareness Month. As warmer weather brings more motorcycles to the road, we encourage everyone to stay alert, share the road, and help keep all travelers safe.
Thank you to our trustees, residents, and community partners for helping make our township a safer and stronger place for all!

En la reunión de la junta de este mes, aprobamos nuestro presupuesto del township de 2026. Gracias a nuestros fideicomisarios dedicados por su arduo trabajo, discusión reflexiva y compromiso de servir a nuestra comunidad. Su liderazgo ayuda a que nuestro township avance de manera responsable y eficiente.

También proclamamos oficialmente mayo como el Mes de Concientización sobre la Motocicleta. A medida que el clima más cálido trae más motocicletas a la carretera, alentamos a todos a mantenerse alerta, compartir la carretera y ayudar a mantener a todos los viajeros seguros.

2026 Winfield Township’s 176th Annual Town Meeting where Cub Scout Pack 575 were the Color Guard, Steven Meeters was the Sergeant at Arms, and a senior from West Chicago High School, Adrian Ramos Perez, was our Moderator.

The Winfield Library is extremely excited to announce that Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is OPEN for enrollment!

All children birth to age 5 who live in 60190 are eligible to receive high quality FREE books every month. Due to the generous funding from the Winfield Library Friends and Adrienne K. Rose, we are able to bring the premier free book giving program to Winfield.
