Please see the below post from the Brazosport ISD Police Department in reference to Emergency response training that will be taking place at Brazoswood High School on June 10th.
Next Wednesday, June 10, Brazosport ISD will serve as the host site for a full-scale emergency response training exercise coordinated by the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office as part of ongoing school safety and emergency preparedness efforts aligned with Texas House Bill 33 (the Uvalde Strong Act) and Texas school safety preparedness requirements.
The exercise will be held at the Brazoswood High School 9th Grade Center. Community members in the area may notice an increased presence of law enforcement, emergency vehicles, first responders, and other emergency response resources. Oh y’all thought the rain was over? S**e. Hope you mowed your grass today, because you won’t be able to for another 3 days again 🙄
Another round of heavy thunderstorms will be moving through Brazoria County tonight and into tomorrow morning. Wind gusts are expected to reach 50mph.
Please be mindful of the weather if you must get out tonight. Remember to secure any loose porch furniture and bring any outside animals, inside! Y’all be safe!

SH 35 EASTBOUND is shut down at FM 521 for a major crash.
Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes as necessary. Lifeflight is en-route and the roadway may be shut down for an extended period of time.

We’re seeing a new scam circulating involving text messages that include a document claiming to be a “Final Enforcement Notice” from the State of Texas/Harris County Court (example pictured). These messages may include threats of enforcement action, court dates, or payment demands.

Law enforcement and the courts will not send enforcement notices or demand payment through unsolicited text messages or QR codes.

Currently they are flashing red. Which means you have to ✨stop✨.
