Rotary is a proud sponsor of Columbia United. Each year we pledge up to $10,000 to pay for supplies. Thank you to all of the student and adult volunteers who work tirelessly to make our community better.
This is how it all stays on track! 37 different sites this week. Wet, then hot, but lots got accomplished.

The West Columbia Rotary Club lost a great man and longtime Rotarian this morning, Coach Jack Hays. Although Jack and his wife Ellen, who greeted him in Heaven, moved to Austin to be with family, he was still considered a member and loved to surprise the club with visits. Jack embodied the club’s motto “Service Above Self” and the principles of the Four Way Test. Pictured with Jack is former president Laurie Kincannon and former/current president Kate Kincannon Huvar in September of 2018 when Jack received a plaque for 48 years of membership. Jack was the club leader in shrimp boil tickets sales every year, but in 2013, he exceeded his own record - 150 tickets sold. Rest in peace, Jack. The club will hold your family close in thoughts and prayers. Jack Hays
