A narrow, approximate 6FT long, aluminum trailer with snowmobile tires, custom made for a portable blue MILLER welder (generator & leads) both reported STOLEN from East Dover in early August.

If you have a surveillance/RING camera that recorded Jockey Hollow Road, Adams Brook, Davis Miller Trail, Gault Road, North Street, Locust Heights, and/or Wakelee Road in early August please contact the Dover P.D. at 802-464-8722.

SAFETY AND SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT IN WINDHAM COUNTY

The Windham County Sheriff's Office will be partnering with the Dover Police Department and other local area law enforcement agencies to conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Windham County during the month of September.

As of August 24, 2026, Vermont roadways have seen 31 fatal crashes resulting in 34 fatalities. Of these 31 crashes, 15 operators were suspected of operating their vehicles under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or a combination of both.

By conducting this checkpoint, the law enforcement agencies of Windham County work toward a common goal of keeping our roadways safe by reducing the number of impaired driving crashes throughout the state.
