I stopped by an LFL in Kearns today, and was a little surprised to see a bunch of PIANO books. They are still books, but just not something I've come across personally before. I snagged a couple as I have been getting back into playing the piano.

Have you found music books in a Little Free Library before?

I often make a loop in West Jordan, hitting a couple LFLs just off of 90th and 3200. On my last trip, I noticed a new one (not sure how recently it went up, or if I just didn't see it before) ... not registered, and small, but packed with some great reads! Cute wallpaper on the inside, and a purple pumpkin on the outside. I'll look forward to see if the steward switches up the outer decor for the different holidays.

On Friday mornings, I attend a Zumba class (a little free one held at a local church) in Kearns. Afterward, I try to do a little LFL loop, hitting four local libraries. The one pictured was the most recent one I found. Not registered, so I added an arrow to indicate its location. It was fairly empty the first time I stopped by (and unfortunately I hadn't replenished my car book bag). I brought more books today, but it looked like others had added already too.

Added September 25, 2026 ... I've read all four of these. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (nonfiction, photos included in the book too, and a movie was made of it). I'd have to check Goodreads to remember how I felt about Echo (it's been a bit), I LOVE The Adoration of Jenna Fox, and thought There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom was really good.
