We’re wrapping up our Back-to-School resources with the nanoHUB Hands-On Data Science and Machine Learning Training series.

This workshop series introduces key concepts in data science and machine learning through engineering and physical science applications. Each resource includes hands-on activities that let participants apply new techniques to real-world problems using nanoHUB's online tools—no software installation required. Designed for both instructors and researchers, these tutorials provide a practical introduction to using data science and machine learning in teaching and research.

With a new semester around the corner, discover how instructors are using nanoHUB to support teaching and enhance learning across courses and disciplines. nanoHUB provides educators with tools to engage students, streamline course preparation, and bring interactive learning experiences into the classroom.

Next up: Recitation Series for Semiconductor Education

This recitation series helps faculty enhance semiconductor courses through interactive simulations, animations, and hands-on exploration. By immersing students in “what if” scenarios, these resources encourage active learning through homework problem exploration and design projects.

In this resource, nanoHUB Director Dr. Gerhard Klimeck introduces the seven tools in the ABACUS Tool Suite, demonstrates example simulations, and shares educational materials that make it easier to incorporate these tools into coursework.
