🚘🏁 What a Fantastic Day in West Long Branch! 🏁🚘

West Long Branch’s First Annual Car Show was a tremendous success! With an incredible turnout of classic cars, vintage beauties, muscle cars, and modern performance vehicles, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy!

But beyond the impressive vehicles, what made the day so special was seeing our community come together. Events like these remind us of what makes West Long Branch such a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.

A heartfelt thank you to Borough Administrator Jason Gonter, Mayor Janet Tucci and the Governing Body, our Recreation Committee, Department of Public Works, Fire Department, First Aid Squad, and Police Department for helping make this event possible.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who brought out their vehicles, participated, volunteered and came to enjoy the day! Your support and enthusiasm made the Borough’s car show a huge success🚗❤️

Great cars, great people, and an even greater community!

🚴‍♀️ **COMMUNITY SAFETY SPOTLIGHT: SHORE REGIONAL’S BIKE PROGRAM IS BACK!** 🚴‍♂️

With the start of a new school year, the West Long Branch Police Department is once again proud to support Shore Regional High School’s innovative Physical Education bike program!

First introduced late in the 2024-2025 school year, the program is continuing this school year, giving students the opportunity to take their PE class beyond the gym and into our community on supervised rides aboard beach cruisers.

The program promotes **physical fitness, mental wellness, and real-world bicycle safety** while giving students a fun and active way to experience our community. Routes have been carefully planned with safety in mind, and the West Long Branch Police Department continues to work closely with Shore Regional to help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.

As students head back out on the road, we’re asking motorists to do their part:

🚗 **Stay alert for groups of student cyclists**
🚴 **Slow down and give riders plenty of space**
👀 **Use extra caution around intersections and school areas**
🤝 **Be patient and share the road**

We applaud Shore Regional for continuing a program that encourages healthy habits, outdoor activity, and hands-on learning.

**So when you see Shore Regional students out riding this school year, please slow down, stay alert, and help us keep them safe!**

Together, we’re building a safer, healthier community. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️
