Keep West Monroe Beautiful has installed more than 10 “No Dumping” signs throughout our community, provided by Keep Louisiana Beautiful. These signs remind residents to dispose of waste properly and help prevent illegal dumping.

Thank you to Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Office of the Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser for supporting efforts to keep our community beautiful!

You can help, too! If you witness littering or find an illegal dumping site, call 855-LA-LITTER (855-525-4883) to report it. Together, we can help keep our neighborhoods and public spaces clean for everyone to enjoy.

13 yr old Zach Wood is an 8th grader at Calhoun Middle School. He will be on the 1st Louisiana Middle school fishing team. He is bringing the Boat Us Foundation fishing line recycling project to our community. He’s already set up a bin in Indian Lakes and this week set up another one at Kiroli Park. Thank you Zack! If you’re heading out to the fair, keep an eye out for the West Monroe Recycling Center’s recycling trailer! You can enjoy all the rides, food and fun while helping us keep recyclable materials out of the landfill.

Be sure to use the labeled compartments for aluminum cans, water bottles and cardboard while you’re there. Every little bit counts! ✅

Happy recycling, and happy fair week, West Monroe! 🎡🎟️
