π¨ SENIOR PRANKS β A MESSAGE TO STUDENTS AND PARENTS π¨
The West Monroe Police Department understands that senior year is an exciting time, and students want to make lasting memories.
However, we want to remind everyone that a senior prank should never result in criminal charges, property damage, or someone getting hurt.
β οΈ What may seem like a harmless prank can quickly become a criminal offense.
π Trespassing, vandalism, destruction of property, theft, and disorderly conduct are not acceptable forms of celebration. Those involved could face criminal charges and be held financially responsible for damages.
π WANT TO HAVE FUN? TRY THESE SAFE SENIOR PRANK ALTERNATIVES!
There are plenty of ways to make your senior year memorable without breaking the law!
β
Anything But a Backpack Day β Carry your school supplies in something silly (and school-approved).
β
Costume Day β Dress up as your favorite teacher, cartoon character, or childhood hero.
β
Teacher Look-Alike Day β Dress like your favorite teacher and see if they can recognize themselves!
β
Positive Prank Day β Surprise teachers and staff with thank-you notes, compliments, or small acts of kindness.
β

π¨βπ©βπ§ PARENTS: Please talk with your teenagers about making responsible decisions and understanding the potential consequences of their actions.
π STUDENTW: You've worked too hard to let one bad decision affect your graduation, your future, or your freedom.
π Make memories, not mugshots!
