We cant stress enough DO NOT BURN or throw out anything that can catch the grass on fire. Don't even burn your trash in a burn barrel. We would like to thank the City of West Plains, Pomona Fire, Pumpkin Center fire and the Missouri Conservation Department. We really appreciated your help with our calls today. Thank you to the Howell County Rural Fire District #1 Auxiliary for bringing us some food to the station. It was truly appreciated. Most every Fire Department in Howell County was out today at one time or another if they had people available. These departments also need a big thank you. We appreciate what you do to take care of our communities. Please pay attention to the burn ban.

Despite the heat, we trained on forcible entry and how to enter a fire in a structure. It was a good training. Thank you to West Plains Fire for letting us use the training tower last night. It was a good learning experience for all.
