Thank you to Premier Building Associates for giving Habitat a call 🤩. Rutland Habitat picked up 2 truckloads of shelving and related retail items for sale in our ReStore. Keeping usable items out of our landfill and building homes 🎉🎉♥️♥️.

Update on Rutland Town Petition:
First, thank you to everyone who signed our petition to include the question of our property tax exemption on the November 3rd Rutland Town ballot. We are grateful for the outpouring of support from our community. Unfortunately you will not see the question on the November 3rd Rutland Town ballot. Even though we submitted the proper amount of signatures, the Rutland Town Select Board voted to not allow the question to go to ballot. Please read the attached article for more details.

The Rutland Town Select Board says it supports the affordable housing work Habitat for Humanity of Rutland County provides and insists that voters deserve a say on the tax exemption

Our friends at ReSource built us 4 picnic tables as part of their Construction 101 workforce training class 👍. These beautiful tables are for sale in our ReStore. Come on down and get a great picnic table and support affordable homeownership 🤩
