We are a family of West Sacramentans dedicated to restorative community. We believe in the power of handshakes and hugs.

Across our diverse faith traditions, we share this common calling: to belong to one another, to help one another, and to give generously and in sincere love to those who are without. As such we are committed not only to directly providing food and services, but to advocacy, education, resourcing and collaboration that will benefit our target populations in the most healthy and holistic ways. We believe our community is filled with many compassionate people who only need a framework and network to serve in, and we are committed to helping build that framework on behalf of our neediest citizens. Without judgment, we acknowledge the deep worth of each person and their basic right to food, shelter, safety and dignity. Our goal is to nourish physical needs, as well as each person’s spiritual need for hope, acceptance and respect.

Happy Halloween, West Sac! 🎃

Whether you're out trick-or-treating with the little ones, handing out candy on your porch, or just soaking in the neighborhood spirit, we hope today is full of sweetness and community magic.

Moments like these are what Mosaic is all about, neighbors showing up for neighbors. Grateful for this community every single day, costumes and candy included.

Stay safe out there tonight, and have fun! 👻

🏆 Serious congrats to our man Nicky! This Friday, he completes a full year with the JAM Academy internship, and what a year it's been.

From running the leaf blower to manning the latte machine, Nicky has shown up for this community in every way imaginable. He's not just completed an internship, he's made his permanent imprint on the Mosaic family.

We are so grateful for your dedication, your consistency, and your beautifully unique presence around here, Nicky. Here's to crossing this finish line and so many more ahead. 🎉

Come celebrate with us and give Nicky your congrats in the comments!

What a day! Socktoberfest brought our West Sacramento community together for an afternoon of carnival games, free food, music, activities, and (of course) sock sorting for families in need. Seeing neighbors show up for neighbors like this is exactly why we do this work.

Huge thank you to our generous sponsors who made it all possible and completely free for our community: West Sac Rotary, PG&E, WUSD, First Northern Bank, Yolo Federal Credit Union, WSPD, and all our partners. We couldn't do this without you.

And to everyone who came out to play, volunteer, and donate, thank you for making it a blast. See you at the next one!

A restorative community doesn’t stay the same, it evolves, grows, and creates space for more. 💜

When generosity, discovery, and love are at the center, change becomes possible. And that change creates new opportunities to keep building stronger, more connected communities.

At Mosaic West Sac, we believe restorative community has a ripple effect, community creating more community. 🌱💛

Restorative Community Principle #9: Accompanies. 💜

No one should have to walk through life’s darkest moments alone. A restorative community shows up, walks alongside one another, and reminds each person that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by community.

At Mosaic West Sac, we believe in doing life together, through the good, the difficult, and everything in between. 💛

Because community means we don’t walk alone.
