The West Salem Library had a blast at Trunk or Treat last night! It was great to see the costumes and the kids and parents!

Special shout out to Laura Balding, our Vice President, for making Cookie Monster! Kudos to Shonda Summerfield for adding the cookies.

The Board would like to congratulate the Friends of the Library for another successful Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat!

Here are some books that have either been or will be made into movies 2026-2027. Read them before you see them. It will be interesting to know which you prefer.
You can find them at your local library, either on the shelf or through the Share program. Feel free to ask me, (Kris)! I'll be glad to help. See you soon.

I can offer my opinion on a few of them. "Verity," by Colleen Hoover is very good. I listened to the audiobook "Victorian Psycho," by Virginia Feito as well. It was not my favorite, but I am interested in how the movie will play out. Jane Austen's, "Sense and Sensibility" is a staple if you read Austen. I am most certainly a fan! It has been a while since I read "The Magician's Nephew" (from the Chronicles of Narnia) by C.S. Lewis, but all of those books are quite wonderful. I recommend the entire series!!!
