Little Dogs Creating Moments That Matter: Celebrating Perfect Attendance

Attendance Matters at DCES and today we recognized one random student who has had perfect attendance so far this school year. 4th grader, Archer Wilkinson, was awarded a book vending machine coin for being present every day so far!

Congratulations, Archer! Keep showing up and working hard! We hope you love your new book!

Fall is here, and we’re helping our Bulldog families fill their pantries with a little extra support this season!

Thanks to our wonderful community partners at Feed My Lambs, we’re excited to offer another food and household essentials giveaway!

🥚 Available items include: Eggs, milk, frozen chicken legs, butter, cheese, fresh fruit, canned goods, macaroni and cheese, juice, almonds, paper plates, and more!

Little Dogs Creating Moments That Matter: Outstanding Student

BOOKS = Being an Outstanding, One of a Kind Student and 4th Grader Davidson Hawkins is our newest student to be recognized as an outstanding student.

Davidson's teacher, Ms. Powell, nominated him and stated "he has a true passion for reading. She [Ms. Powell] loves seeing the smile on his face when he comes from the library with a new book. He is very kind and polite every day. He is a true joy to have in class."

Well done, Davidson. We are very proud of you. For this outstanding recognition, Davidson earned a coin to the Book Vending Machine. Enjoy your new book, Davidson!!
