When you purchased your home, you likely planned to use your garage for your car. But somehow, it has instead become home to your camping gear, holiday decor, bikes, tools, old furniture, ATVs and even stacks of boxes or bins you haven’t opened in years.

With much colder and snowier weather to come, finally reclaiming that space for your car will mean a whole winter without scraping ice, trudging through snow, or climbing into a freezing car.

Let Towne Storage help make this a reality by giving you a clean, convenient, and affordable place for all the belongings you want to use the rest of the year – just not at the expense of your car.

To celebrate their fall menu, we’re offering a Chick-fil-A card right here and all you have to do is like this (or the matching post on one of our other social pages) for a chance to get it!

We’ll randomly select a winner and announce their name right here during the last week of October. They will then have two weeks from that time to reach out, so be sure to check back later to see if it’s you!

Halloween is much more fun when you have room to enjoy it—but oversized skeletons, tubs of decorations, party supplies, fog machines, yard inflatables, and boxes of old costumes can quickly take up all kinds of space.

So whether you’re clearing room to host a Halloween party, making space for trick-or-treaters, or swapping everyday décor for pumpkins, cobwebs, and hanging skeletons, a Towne Storage self-storage unit can help you keep the things you don’t need today safely out of the way.

And once spooky season ends, it will also give you a clean, convenient place to store all your favorite Halloween décor until next October—so it stays organized, protected, and ready to haunt again.

“This is the place to be.” That means a lot, Ryan, and we really appreciate your business!

At Towne Storage, we know you want your belongings to come out of storage smelling the same way they went in—not like they’ve spent months hiding in a damp basement.

So before packing anything away, we recommend making sure it’s completely clean and dry—especially clothing, linens, furniture and appliances—because even a slightly damp towel or a trace of food residue can lead to stubborn odors over time.

And when storing refrigerators, freezers, and cabinets, it’s wise to place an open box of baking soda inside to absorb any lingering smell and to leave doors slightly ajar to keep stale air from becoming trapped.

We also suggest using breathable fabric covers on furniture and mattresses rather than tight plastic, which can hold in condensation; and to avoid storing cardboard boxes directly on the floor, as utilizing shelving or pallets instead can reduce moisture exposure.

Most people appreciate that working from home can make life more convenient—but it’s much harder to stay focused when your “office” is in a shared area of the house or is crowded with boxes, extra furniture, seasonal decor, and anything else that doesn’t have a place.

A self-storage unit can help you clear out all that overflow to turn that spare room, basement corner, or unused bedroom into a quiet, organized workspace where you can think clearly and get more done.

So instead of squeezing your desk into whatever space is left around your home, let Towne Storage give you a clean, secure, and affordable place.

Because when your home has room for you to work, it becomes much easier to separate your job from the rest of your life.
