A BIG THANK YOU to the Montana Department of Commerce!
We are incredibly grateful to have been awarded $50,000 through Montana’s Emergency Tourism Assistance Grant Program (METAP)!
A total of $500,000 was awarded to 10 local safety agencies across Montana to help strengthen emergency services in communities impacted by tourism.
Our award was used to purchase a new command vehicle, giving our crews another important tool to help us respond safely and effectively to emergencies in our community and surrounding area. For a small rural department serving both our year-round residents and the thousands of visitors who come through our area, funding opportunities like this make a tremendous difference.
Thank you to the METAP program for investing in rural emergency services and helping us continue to be prepared when our community and visitors need us most. We are extremely thankful for this support!

Winter in West Yellowstone doesn’t mess around—and every local child deserves to be warm when the temperatures drop!
Hebgen Basin Fire District is raising $10,000 for our Coats for Kids program to purchase NEW winter coats for local children who need them most.
Every donation makes a difference:
$25 gets us closer to a coat.
$50 can help provide a warm winter coat.

ISO: OLD CHARGING CORDS
This year’s Fire Prevention theme is all about SAFE CHARGING!
We know some of you have a junk drawer full of charging cords dating all the way back to your first flip phone. You don’t know what they go to, you haven’t used them in 12 years, but for some reason you’re emotionally committed to keeping them.
Good news: this is your chance to finally let go.
We’re looking for old charging cords to use during our Fire Prevention lessons at the school. Old, outdated, tangled, damaged—we can put them to good use teaching kids about charging safety. So open that junk drawer, face the cord collection you’ve been avoiding, and donate it to a good cause.

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t mind running toward the flashing lights, can handle a little adrenaline, and wants a career where no two days are exactly the same.

🔥 Firefighter/Paramedic — $29.22/hour | $87,485 annually
🚑 Firefighter/EMT — $26.19/hour | $78,413 annually
