The mural is complete, and our Children’s Area is fully open!

We’re excited to share our wonderful new mural with the community! Artist Winter McFarland generously volunteered her time and talent to create a beautiful and fun space in the children’s drift-boat area.

A special thank you to the West Yellowstone Library Foundation for funding the paint and a gift of appreciation for Winter, to Library Trustee Magen Crowley () for connecting us with Winter, and to our talented volunteer Gayle Gavagan () for helping refresh the library walls with beautiful new colors.

We’re so grateful for the generosity and support that make our library such a special place!

Stop by and see the finished mural!

On Wednesday, September 30, the Library welcomed Randy'L Teton (Shoshone-Bannock) for a special storytime, and our patrons and staff had a great time with her! We were very excited to host her, with help from the Museum, and are glad that we were able to provide this opportunity for patrons. Thank you for coming out, and another big thank you to Randy'L for taking the time to see us!

Come to the library to pick a recipe for the next Cookin' the Books, taking place on Wednesday, October 28th at 6:00pm! This time we are exploring "flavors of Morocco" by Ghillie Basan. There are some great dishes in this book, so join us to try something new and tasty!

👀 LOOK WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE LIBRARY! 🌲

Thanks to artist Winter McFarland, our walls are transforming! A Montana-inspired mural is coming to life before our very eyes.

We’re still in the middle of painting, but we couldn’t resist giving you a sneak peek.

More to come... 🎨🏔️

Though part of the children's area remains blocked off, little ones are still welcome to enjoy the play kitchen area and toys. Children's books are also still available! Please feel free to stop by, say hi to our librarians, check out books, and see the art take shape!

(LEGO Club will still begin October 7th)
