Congratulations to Offline Cocktails on a beautiful groundbreaking celebration today in Adel! 🎉🥂
This project is more than a new facility. It's a major win for Adel, Dallas County, and the future of our regional economy.
Founded by Adel natives Matt and Jodi Schweiger, Offline Cocktails is choosing to grow where its roots are planted, investing $3.82 million into a new 10,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Visions Parkway. Once complete, the facility will mix, can, and package ready-to-drink cocktails and premium nonalcoholic mocktails for distribution across the region and beyond.
This investment brings new jobs, strengthens our workforce, and introduces an entirely new opportunity for food and beverage manufacturing in Dallas County. It's exactly the kind of project that helps diversify our economy while creating momentum for future industry growth.
We're proud to celebrate this exciting milestone alongside the City of Adel, the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce, and the entire Offline Cocktails team. The future is looking bright, and we can't wait to see what's next. 🍹✨

Vince has been a strong advocate for our communities and a valued member of our board, and we’re thrilled to officially “promote” him to the executive level.
The title may be new, but the leadership, passion, and commitment he brings to Dallas County have been there all along. Congratulations, Vince!

🚨 Hold up. Don’t keep scrolling. We spy a Dallas County product. 👀🌱🚀
Mission Unstoppable, hosted by Miranda Cosgrove, recently stopped by NASA to explore how plants are grown in space. Those futuristic growth chambers they featured? Yep. Made right here in Dallas County.
Percival Scientific in Perry manufactures custom environmental chambers and incubators used for plant growth research, helping fuel innovation from small-town Iowa all the way to outer space.
Casual DALCO things. 😎

Today, we had the opportunity to welcome Debi Durham with Iowa Economic Development Authority to Dallas County for a conversation about growth, momentum, and what’s next for our communities.
One thing was made clear: communities that win are the ones willing to innovate, collaborate, and think bigger. Public-private partnerships matter. Creativity matters. And yes, tourism is economic development.
From industry growth to community attraction, Iowa’s future belongs to the regions willing to stay ahead of the curve instead of chasing it. Lucky for us, Dallas County has never been interested in sitting still.

Thank you to the Iowa Association of Business and Industry for bringing these leaders to the Perry community and allowing us to share the great work happening across Dallas County!

May is Small Business Month! 🎉🛍️
“Small business” may be defined differently across the world, but here in Dallas County, it is the heart and soul of our communities. Small businesses drive 80% of growth, fueling innovation, creating jobs, and shaping the places we call home.
As we celebrate this month, we also want to remind our local entrepreneurs that our Small Business Grant application is still open, but not for long. This opportunity is designed to help you take the next step toward growth, whether that’s investing in technology, marketing, training, or furniture & fixtures.
If you’re a Dallas County small business, we encourage you to apply before the deadline at the end of the month. Learn more and apply here: https://dallascounty-ia.org/small-business-grant-fund/.
