🎉 Inspiring the next generation of accounting professionals!
Nearly 100 high school students, educators and ISCPA member volunteers came together yesterday at the University of Dubuque for an incredible High School Accounting Showcase!
Students heard firsthand from a former fraudster, tackled a real-world case study written by Dr. Jenny McGarry, and presented their findings and proposed solutions to a panel of judges. It was a great opportunity to explore how accounting goes beyond the numbers to solve problems, uncover fraud and make a difference! Teams from West Delaware and Monticello were room winners and Team 3 from Bellevue was the First Place Winner.
