Throwback Thursday! Mrs. Feriz’s class was excited to play with the Woodland Hills chicks! It was a wonderful hands-on experience filled with curiosity, responsibility, and lots of smiles! 💛

On Wednesday our 4th graders went to BizTown! They had such a great time learning about paychecks, taxes, loans and so much more! They experienced first hand what it was like to have a job and pay bills.

Have you ever witnessed a chick hatch? Our students did!

Mrs. Meyer's class visited the Woodland Hills Chicks to learn about life cycles, observe growth up close, and watch chicks hatch right before their eyes. It was a hands-on, unforgettable science experience! Full of curiosity and big smiles.

Where: Green space near the elementary school
Who: Any child interested in learning and playing football

Take advantage of this free opportunity to learn the fundamentals of football in a fun, supportive environment. Coaches from the Waukee Youth Football League, Waukee High School, and current Warrior players will lead participants through engaging drills while encouraging teamwork and confidence. Kids will also have the chance to play and learn alongside their classmates.

Third Grade Highlight!

The grade wrapped up our school year of testing with a special surprise testing box reveal! Students celebrated all of their hard work with a classroom switch filled with fun activities, games, and smiles.

The more you read, the better you read!

Students in Mrs. Wirth's room practice re-reading their books to make their reading sound smoother and more fluent than the first time they tried. It helps their brains hold onto the tricky parts of the books. Way to go, Readers!

Sharpen the Saw Day was a huge success!

Thank you to the incredible teachers who planned such a meaningful day and to the volunteers who stepped in to help make it all happen. It was truly a fun-filled day for everyone involved!

On Thursday the 4th grade students prepared for BizTown by interviewing with Waukee APEX students! They did such a good job! Students practiced shaking hands and answering questions. We are so proud of them and all their hard work. Also a huge thank you to the Waukee APEX students for all their help.
