As Ben’s time at Link comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank him for everything he has done for the TR Program! Ben’s hard work, passion, and dedication for those we serve has made a lasting impact, and we are so grateful to have had him as part of our team.

Ben’s last day with us will be Saturday, May 30th. While we will miss seeing him around, we are excited for what’s ahead as he continues his internship this summer and heads to Iowa State this fall!

Thank you for all your hard work, Ben — we wish you nothing but success in this next chapter, and we hope to see you volunteering with us in the future!

Summer Games 2026 is officially in the books! 🎉

What an incredible couple of days at Special Olympics Summer Games!

Our bocce and soccer teams competed on Thursday, and our track & field athletes gave it their all on Friday and Saturday. We are so proud of the hard work, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by every athlete!

Thank you to our coaches, families, and supporters who cheered everyone on along the way. Congratulations to all of our athletes for representing us so well! ❤️

🏊‍♂️ Unified Swim Night is TONIGHT! 🏊‍♀️

Join us from 5:30–6:15 PM at Dowling Catholic High School to support our Special Olympics swimmers as they wrap up the season!

Come cheer them on during a fun and friendly competition with Dowling students. Your support means so much to these athletes, and we’d love to see a great crowd there!

Huge congratulations to our Special Olympics Track & Field athletes for competing at districts last week! 🏅 We have 31 athletes advancing to the Summer Games in May!

A big shoutout to the Dowling Catholic student volunteers for all of your help this season—your time, energy, and encouragement mean so much to our athletes. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 👏

We’re a little late to posting, but the celebration is just as big! 🎉

Huge congratulations to our 13 Special Olympics swimmers who competed at the area swim competition on April 1st at the Waukee Family YMCA! 🏊‍♂️💙

Our athletes gave it their all in every race, showing great sportsmanship and supporting one another every step of the way. You represented our program in the best way possible!

Way to go, swimmers—we are so proud of you! 👏🎉

Special Olympics Track and Field practice scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to the weather. Practice will continue as normal on Thursday!
