UNCLAIMED BICYCLES – LAST OPPORTUNITY

The WSPD has several bicycles that have been turned in as found property. Despite efforts to identify and locate the owners, the bicycles remain unclaimed.

Before these bicycles are sent to auction, we are making one final effort to reunite them with their rightful owners.

If you believe one of these bicycles may belong to you, please contact the WSPD Detective Division at 708-246-1800 ext. 156 by Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

To claim a bicycle, you will need to provide information that helps establish ownership, such as a description, identifying features, photographs, serial number, or other documentation.

After the deadline, any bicycles that remain unclaimed will be processed for disposal/auction in accordance with department policy and applicable law.

Please share this post to help us reach anyone who may be looking for a lost or stolen bicycle.

Please do not claim a bicycle unless you are able to establish that you are the rightful owner.

The WSPD encourages riders to register their bicycles. Learn more at: https://wsprings.com/175/Bicycle-Registration-Safety
