It’s hard to look at a place the same way after you’ve pulled trash out of it.
The largest piece of plastic I pulled from a public park during a clean-up day, half buried in the ground. In just over an hour, with a handful of women, we collected more than 60 pounds of garbage. See the second photo.
Once you’ve seen what’s underneath, you start to see differently. And the beauty comes back in a different way. It feels good.
This is what Jane Goodall meant by hope in action.
Our hand poured candles are part of that idea. Each one is tied to conservation work that helps protect endangered species and supports wild places.
They are a reminder that individual choices still matter. A simple way to stay connected to conservation in a real, tangible way.
In honor of Earth Day, every candle plants a tree at no extra cost through Mother’s Day.
One candle = one tree. Three candles = three trees.
See picture three for the One Tree Planted certificate and tree card included with your order.
If it feels aligned, you can order through our website or find us at .street.events at the Sports Castle this Friday through Sunday.
I would love to hear your Earth Day moments, ideas, or plans. Drop them in the comments below.
