We are located in Northeast Sumner County. We cover the City of Westmoreland, TN and a large area in Sumner County and Macon County. House on the hill! Walnut St.

The Westmoreland Fire Dept. is an all volunteer dept. Comprised of 25 volunteers, we operate in a safe and professional manner. We have 2 Engines, 2 Brush trucks, 1 Ladder Truck, 1 Tanker, 1 Rescue, and 1 Support unit. Our current ISO rating is a split 4/4X. We are located on N. which runs directly behind all businesses in town. Remember if you have an emergency please dial 911.

What a wonderful day it was talking Fire Safety at Providence General Baptist Church for their Mother's Day Out Program. The kids loved seeing the truck, hearing the sirens, and listening to Assistant Chief Chris Bandy.

A few safety tips for you all in case of a house fire:
🔥Closing doors helps contain the fire. Good idea to do this at night, as well.
🔥Make sure your smoke detectors are working properly. Replace those batteries you've been forgetting to change.
🔥Create a safety family plan - Choose a central and safe location to meet if there is an emergency inside your home.
🔥Remember: firefighters are your friends. Their gear may seem scary at first, but they are there to help you.
🔥And most of all: STOP. DROP. ROLL.

25 years.

In that moment, our nation stood still. Shocked. Broken. Silent.

But we didn't stay down.
We didn't stay silent.
We didn't give up.

We stood up tall and we fought back as a strong united nation.

Those actions forced us to grow; to change.

Here we are, 25 years later, still remembering where each of us were.
Still sharing those names.
Still honoring them.
Still fighting for our freedom.

Today, and forever, we will NEVER forget.

Today, several of our members walked in honor of the fallen. Showing our dedication to the mission. Ensuring we continue the commitment we made 25 years ago that we will never forget.

We love it when our fire department grows, especially when it involves tiny blessings.

Capt. Aaron Mandrell and his wife Victoria Mandrell have welcomed their baby girl, Kaybree, to the world.

Although baby girl needs a little extra love from the NICU, both mama and baby are doing wonderful.

Welcome Kaybree to the WFD Family!
