The Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Pottawatomie County Conservation District will be closed tomorrow for the Federal Holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday October 13, 2026.

This week the District held their annual tour of conservation accomplishments in the county. The tour invitation list was composed of Conservation District board members, county bankers, FSA County Committee members, K-State Research and Extension Council members, personnel from the Conservation District, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and K-State Research and Extension Service.

The winners will be announced at our 81st Annual Meeting in late January, 2027.

PCCD staff is dividing and conquering today. One will be assisting at the Agriland Exhibition in the Pride of Kansas Building at the Kansas State Fair and the other is helping out at the Topeka Water Festival in Garfield Park. Stay tuned for photos of our busy but productive day!
