Don't forget to join us on Wednesday evening for a community discussion with Public Assets Institute about changes in federal funding and how it impacts our state budget. The nonprofit is holding community conversations throughout the state, and we hope you'll join us for this special event.

Public Assets Institute is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that provides sound, accessible tax, budget, and economic data and analysis to advance policies that further racial, social, and economic equity.

You do not need to live in Weston to attend. All are welcome!

Did you know that Vermont gets more money each year from federal funding than from state taxes? Join Vermont nonprofit, Public Assets Institute, to learn more about how federal funding, and recent changes in funding impact our state budget. This will be an informative, nonpartisan, community discussion. Join us to learn, share your ideas, and listen to your neighbors.

Public Assets Institute is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that provides sound, accessible tax, budget, and economic data and analysis to advance policies that further racial, social, and economic equity. Kids (and grownups) of all ages need a special pouch for special treasures. Join us tomorrow, Saturday, September 26th at 10:30 for Saturday Craft Hour! After reading a book together, kids and their grownups will work together to design, assemble, and decorate their very own felt pouch to take home.

Grab your needles and join us in front of our bay of sunny windows this afternoon for Knitting Circle at 4pm. Bring your project in, or use the needles and yarn we have on hand to start something new. Never held knitting needles before? Just starting out? Not to worry! Shari will be on hand to help anyone get started.

September story time is here! We will gather together in the cozy children's room to read picture books together, sing songs, wiggle, and play. After story time kids will make a felt heart tag with help from their grownups. This is a great place for young children and their grownups to meet new friends!

Shari will be reading the beloved book, "The Kissing Hand" (a favorite of many The Little School ~ Weston Vermont students).

Join us on Saturday during the Weston Village Fair & Jubilee for a special book presentation and drawing class from beloved Paddington Bear illustrator, R.W. Alley. He'll be on hand in the morning at Vermont Country Store to sign books, and then will head over to the library to talk about his latest book in the "Breezy Valley at Work" series, and share a lesson on how to draw your very own character!
