Any one that was impacted by the flooding earlier this week and had damage to their home or business can self report to Clearfield County EMA/PEMA with the following link.

This survey aims to help state and local emergency management officials across Pennsylvania identify and understand damages that have occurred during recent natural disaster activity.

Please submit one survey per impacted address.

Reporting damages to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency, and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.

You can also report road damage too. It is going to days if not weeks for some of these roads to be repaired.

🚧IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW🚧
The Clearfield County EMA and Clearfield County Commissioners have declared an Emergency Disaster Declaration for the major flooding event taking place in southern Clearfield County. Please be aware of multiple flooded roadways and damaged infrastructure. County EMA is currently on scene with the Fire Department and Red Cross representatives doing damage assessments and aiding in emergency responses.

Anyone in Clearfield County affected by today’s flooding that has not yet spoken to a Red Cross Representative or County EMA please call 814-672-5453 for assistance.

Update on the flooding and road closures. as of 23:00 7/28/2026. Route 36 is open. W. Bridge St is closed from Rt 36 to Water St. most likely this will reopen tomorrow morning. Five Points road is closed Between Glenn Road and and the Burnside/Chest Twps lines until the small bridge near the Young residence can be inspected by Penn Dot. Some roads still have gravel/debris use caution until the municipalities/Penn Dot can get them cleaned off. Be alert for road berms that have washed out. Local, County and State EMA will be in the area doing damage assessments tomorrow.

Folks, please be patient with our crews as we deal with this flooding. Currently Main St., State Route 36 is closed between Sylva and Miller Street south of Westover. Five Points Rd. is closed near the Chest Burnside Township line.  there are numerous other roads that are debris covered and washed out. Please use caution.  east and W. Bridge St. in the borough are closed.
