Should school start later in the morning? Proposal would make it Mass. law Massachusetts students would get to sleep in a bit longer under a new proposal to mandate that schools start later in the morning so kids can get more sleep.

Westwood Friends,
Tomorrow is Election Day in Westwood. When I first ran for School Committee nine years ago, I never imagined I’d be navigating a global pandemic—or still serving nearly a decade later.
What hasn’t changed is my passion and commitment to supporting the Whole Child in Westwood—prioritizing our kids’ social-emotional, physical, and mental well-being. As I reflect on this journey, I know my daughters wouldn’t be who they are today without the incredible support of the Westwood Public Schools.
We’re on the right path—preparing kids for life, not just college.
