π Congrats, Tyriana! π
Tyriana is an incredibly dedicated student who has faced many challenges throughout her high school career, yet she has never allowed those obstacles to stop her from pursuing her goals and dreams.
Our CIS Program Manager, Mrs. Howerton-Limas, served as Tyrianaβs AVID mentor this year, helping her stay on track with her grades, GPA, and classwork, while also checking in with her regularly to ensure she was doing well both academically and personally.
Tyriana has been accepted into several schools, including Texas Wesleyan University, Texas Womanβs University, and Tarrant County College, where she plans to complete her basics before transferring to pursue a degree in the medical field. She is a first-generation college student and has maintained an A average in all of her core classes throughout this school year, which is an incredible accomplishment. In addition, she is graduating with six extra credits beyond what was required.
"I could not be more proud of Tyriana and everything she has accomplished this year. She has a very bright future ahead of her!"
