👹🧵 From Little Imaginations to Monster Masterpieces! 💚💙
What happens when kindergarten creativity meets high school sewing skills? The CUTEST collaboration ever! 🥰
A couple of weeks ago, our kindergarten students put their imaginations to work as they illustrated, named, and wrote about their very own monsters. Their creations were then handed over to Mrs. Harris and Mr. Lombard’s Life Skills class, where high school students brought those colorful characters to life by sewing them into one-of-a-kind monster stuffies inspired by Monsters Love Underpants! 🧵🪡
On Friday, the moment our youngest Bulldogs had been waiting for finally arrived! Before the students came down, we read Monsters Love Underpants together, building excitement for the big reveal. Then, each high school student personally returned the kindergarten student’s original drawing and writing along with the finished monster stuffy they had carefully created. The smiles, excitement, and pride made this project extra special! ❤️
This was so much more than a sewing project. It was a beautiful example of creativity, collaboration, and connection across grade levels. Our youngest Bulldogs got to see their ideas become something real, while our high school students had the opportunity to use their skills to create something meaningful for someone else.
A HUGE thank-you to Mrs. Harris, Mr. Lombard, and their Life Skills students for turning our kindergarteners’ imaginations into huggable masterpieces! 🐾
Big ideas, helping hands, and a whole lot of Bulldog heart! ❤️🤍
