What does a Director of Curriculum and Instruction actually do?

As we introduce this new role at North Greene, we want our community to understand not only why we created the position, but what the work will look like. This year, Mrs. Bushnell will be focused on auditing and aligning curriculum across the district, strengthening our PLC process (the reason for late-start Mondays), and developing a purposeful staff development plan—all with the goal of providing stronger support for our teachers and better learning experiences for our students.

The graphic below provides a look at where we are starting and where we hope to go over the next three years.

Our District is pleased to announce a new partnership with Brighter Connections, made possible through the Challenge What’s Possible Innovation Grant from the Tracy Family Foundation!

This grant will allow up to 34 North Greene students (ages 8 to 8th grade) to participate in the Brighter Connections program at school at no cost to families.

This program will serve a small group of students, and participation is completely voluntary. Additional information about the program and participation will be communicated directly to families soon.

We are grateful for this opportunity to provide another layer of support for our students and families!
