Hello, White Pine! Wreaths Across America has made its way to Jefferson County! This will be the first year we have been able to honor our Veterans by placing wreaths on graves. We are starting small this year with only 40 Wreaths, but if you’d like to participate please meet us at 10:30 tomorrow at the Church in the Pines.
Already planning for more wreaths next year, we are asking for help in people sponsoring wreaths, volunteers for the program, and especially help identifying all the Veteran graves in Jefferson County. If you have any questions or want to let us know Veteran grave locations, please call or text me at 865.660.2899. We are getting a map together for next year’s placement of wreaths. We will also be setting up a page specifically for WAA Jefferson County, so keep an eye out for that.
