It was wonderful to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Charitable Trust and welcome them to the beautiful new location!

Their commitment to supporting local nonprofits and giving back to our community makes their continued growth even more meaningful. We’re excited to see them thriving in a space that will allow them to make an even greater impact.

✨ Thank You for Making Our CAP Prom a Success! ✨

On October 2nd, the Center for Abused Persons (CAP) hosted our Prom Fundraiser to raise money to support victims and survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in our community. 💜

We want to extend our heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us, supported our mission, donated, and helped make our Prom Night such a memorable and successful evening! Your generosity helps CAP continue providing critical support and resources to survivors. 👑 Our Prom Court nominees raised over $6,000 to support victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault! 💜

We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, generosity, and commitment to supporting CAP’s mission. Thank you for making a difference in our community! 🙌💜
A special thank you to Charles County Board Commissioner Vice President Ralph Patterson for presenting our proclamation and showing your support for CAP and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

💜 Standing Together Against Domestic Violence 💜

On Thursday evening, the Center for Abused Persons (CAP) was proud to support the Charles County Sheriff’s Office’s Purple Light Nights event, an evening dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and standing in solidarity with survivors and all those impacted.

As the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters glowed purple, community members and local agencies came together with one shared message: domestic violence has no place in our community.

Together, we remain committed to supporting survivors, raising awareness, and working toward a future free from domestic violence.
