It was an absolutely beautiful day for our groundbreaking ceremony! We were honored to be joined by Chuck Henderson from Senator Jean Shaheen's office, Executive Council member Joe Kenney and Mindy Atwood from the NH State Library, Ben Gaetjens-Olsen the CDFA, Scott Black and Mike Lee from the town, and so many of our favorite people from the library - little kids, board members past and present, our WOLF board, and patrons who make our days even when we don't have a special event.
We are so excited to share this new facility with our community. As we said today, we can't be all things to all people, but we truly hope this new space will allow the library to have something for everyone. Join us on October 27 at the library to hear more about the project. Onward we go!

Help us celebrate kids, literacy, and our patron saint of kindess Dolly Parton with the first annual Give Like Dolly day on September 25. (9/25...get it?!)

With nearly 700 kids enrolled in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library across the North Country, we need to raise at least $21,000 for 2027. We have a $5000 match from the Dr. Lillian Luksis Literacy Foundation. Can we at least double that before the end of September?

Your gift to “Give Like Dolly!” brings free Imagination Library books to young children across the North Country 📚 Every month, a new, high‑quality book…
