We are so grateful to Bessie and Lester Mcpeeks from “Gods love from a Diaper Bag” and Calvary Baptist Church from Gastonia, North Carolina for hosting a wonderful community baby shower at the Letcher County Health Department and for their dedication to supporting families in Letcher County.

The Letcher County Health Department would also like to extend a special THANK YOU! to Katie Church, a breast cancer survivor, for curiously sharing her story of strength, hope and perseverance. At 31 years old, she wants women to know that breast cancer can affect young women too and the importance of knowing your body and being proactive about your breast health. THANK YOU again for sharing your story!
