We are excited to announce that Inner Mission will be hosting a FREE Mental Health workshop HERE at Franklin!
While Franklin has partnered with Inner Mission for years (food drive/toy drive, etc.), we are excited to expand our partnership and include ALL SCH Families!

Event Details
Date: Thursday, October 22
Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Location: Franklin Elementary
Provided: Dinner (Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Chips, Dessert, and bottled water) and free childcare

Good Morning to our Franklin Community! Our school is doing a popcorn fundraiser to support keeping field trips at a lower cost for families. Please use the link below if you do NOT have a Franklin student here to help support our school! Any prizes accumulated through this account will go to our weekly PBIS prize fund.

Franklin Families - This information was sent via parent square and came home with your child yesterday.

5th and 6th Grade finished up our cross-curricular unit on National Disasters, Hurricanes, and Hurricane Katrina. We are super proud of the amazing projects that they submitted!

On Friday October 23 from 4:30-6:30pm, we will be hosting our annual Fall Family Night featuring trunk or treat, reading stations, and our book fair!

This will take place in our gym so we can have the event no matter what the weather ends up being.
This is FREE to attend and is only for Franklin Families/Students.

**Any community member or Franklin family can sign up for a table!
We will provide the table and seating!
The tables are half of our cafeteria tables which measure 8 feet long by 1 ft 3inches wide.
Set up will begin at 4pm.
We have approximately 200 students enrolled at Franklin. Their families/siblings come through this event.
We look forward to everyone coming that day to have fun!

Third grades started their next science unit which is on animal classification. They were introduced to the job of a animal researchers. We visited the National Zoo using their web cameras. The students observed lions, giant pandas, and naked mole rats. They had a lot of fun watching the different animals.
